Is there any reason morning glory can,t be planted with climbing roses for color?
last time i had morning glories and roses together the morning glory's killed the roses by strangulation
Reply:My neighbour had morning glory growing up through her climbing roses, last year, and it looked lovely. This year she has given me some seeds and I'm going to grow my own, with a bit of luck. Roses have pretty tough stems so I should think they would be OK. Best of luck!
Reply:Morning Glories can be very aggressive growing several feet in a day. If your Rose is not very vigorous, this may not be a good match. Some roses do not care much for competition for nutrients and water. I would be very careful, if I did it at all.
