They need plenty of sun, preferably from the South or East, and I have noticed that the only time of the day I actually see the blooms is in the morning, before I go to work. (Hence the name Morning Glory). Seems like any time past 10am, they are gone, like they didn't exsist at all. Give them time, and check them in the morning...they just might already be there.
Why isn't my Morning Glory vine getting flowers on it.?
r they in full sun ?
Did u fertilze with Nitrogen? that makes leaves but not flowers
Reply:Hi. I had this problem once myself. The seed would sprout and grow like crazy. I had them planted under a group of palmtrees where they could twine up the old branch pieces.
The problem was that they did not get enough sun to flower even though they were perfectly healthy.
Reply:Try more water. You might want to get the "feet" in the shade or under some mulch. I assume it is getting adequate sun.
Reply:did you whisper sweet nothings at it this morning???...they like poor soil abuse...they were a weed before ...
