Morning glories need full sun and comparatively "poor" garden soils to bloom their best. If they get very much nitrogen from lawn fertilizers, you can expect them to grow strongly, but at the expense of flowers.Morning glories also bloom best in late summer and fall. So, I wouldn't follow the advice of the previous answerer who suggested you apply MORE synthetic frertilizer to your plants!
Reply:As morning glory are given ample watering they tend to put all their energy in making more vine to spread out , reach different amounts of sunlight, before blooming. Less water will make put more of their energy into blooming all over at once so that it attracted pollinators at a greater distance.
Reply:try some miracle grow, it might stimulate flowers instead of leaves
Reply:Something missing in the soil? Not enough sunshine? Not enough light? Not warm enough?
Reply:Maybe not enough sunshine. Or did you do something different to the soil?
Reply:Not enough sun.
