Are you suppose to plant morning glory seeds one here and there or together?

Im new to planting mg seeds and i was just wondering are you suppose to place a trellis first and then plant them? how many seeds do you need to use? and how will they "catch" on the trellis?

You can plant them an inch or two apart - the more you plant, the more vines you get. You should put the trellis in first so you don't disturb the roots when the plants start to grow. Morning Glories natural grow upward in sunlight - they will naturally wrap around the trellis. Follow the directions on your packet of seeds. You will want to ''nick" the seeds (use a nail clipper) and soak them in water overnight, this helps them germinate more quickly. They have a very tough shell to get them through the winter, so if you're planting in Spring you need to help them along.
